Director Paul von Stoetzel sent along these cool pictures from the storyboard for the film 'How to Jail,' and more information about the actors portraying Henry and Willis.
Willis will be played by Ryan Parker Knox. Ryan is still just getting his feet wet in the local independent film industry. He was seen in a 2009 48-film Festival Group Winner for Audience Favorite in One Light Collective's "Emerald" an recently in Todd Cobery's chilling short "Good Morning Beautiful". A few industrial films and training videos aside, RPK sticks primarily to the stage in the Twin Cities having performed all over town and in a few regional theatres. In summer 2011, he'll travel to Bemidji, Minnesota, for his 5th summer as an acting company member for Paul Bunyan Playhouse, appearing in leading roles in both "Lend Me a Tenor" and "The Full Monty" among others. Ryan is excited to be working along side an old comrade in Peter Christian Hansen, with whom he has done at least a dozen plays for St Paul's Gremlin Theatre and Park Square Theater. "How to Jail" marks Ryan's 3rd time working with Paul von Stoetzel., having performed a staged adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado" around Halloween 2008 as well as Hardcover Theater's Absolute Pulp, which Paul von Stoetzel was a director.
Paul says he'll be shooting with the acclaimed Red camera, used for major releases like Fair Game, The Social Network, Blue Valentine and Green Zone.
I'll be out in Minneapolis for the fundraiser on February 18th, which should be a great event.
